Spring Festival of New Music 2011, York
cat•er•waul will be debuting as a group in the Spring Festival of New Music in a joint concert with pianist Joe Houston. We will be performing new works by Lauren Redhead, Gareth Churchill hand Desmond Clarke, as well as works by Harrison Birtwistle and Francois Sarhan

Announcing our first project: "New Ventures"

cat•er•waul team up with seven associate composers to collaborate on new works. The project consists of two workshops leading up to a concert of new works in December. Most of the composers are postgraduate students of composition from northern universities and the project satisfies and promotes the groups focus on research and collaboration.

Green Angel

cat•er•waul have been booked to perform as part of the upcoming performance of Lauren Redhead's new opera "Green Angel". The opera has already had a premiere of the first act which involved cat•er•waul percussionist Enrico Bertelli and the full performance early next year will incorporate the whole group.
